How tiers, ranks, and projection ranges are calculated
- Projection tiers
- The range chart is sorted by expected points. Within each position, a new tier starts after expected points fall more than 8% from the first player in the tier.
- Detailed ranking tiers
- The detailed view uses attributed rank evidence. A boundary starts when plausible rank ranges separate by more than 0.5 spots or adjacent center ranks differ by at least 3 spots; position bands are the fallback when uncertainty is absent.
- Ranks and ADP
- The projection chart defaults to expected points and can be reordered by consensus/source rank, ceiling, floor, or League Read Value Rank. The badge beside each player identifies ECR or the actual fallback evidence instead of presenting every source rank as consensus. Expert rank, consensus market ADP, individual provider ADP, and League Read Value Rank remain separate. The selected board uses 12 teams and 1 QB.
- Projection range
- The capped line is the scoring-specific 10th-percentile floor to 90th-percentile ceiling; the larger diamond and adjacent number are expected season points. This preserves players whose average is modest but whose modeled upside is meaningful. The tooltip also shows expected points per projected game and the retained player-level drivers.
