Have the provider details ready
Choose the fantasy site that owns the league. Depending on that provider, you will need a league ID or URL, a username, an API key, or an approved ESPN browser session. League Read never needs the password for Sleeper, ESPN, MyFantasyLeague, or Fleaflicker.
If you manage more than one league, connect each one separately. The league selector at the top of the site keeps their rules, teams, and seasons distinct.
Connect the league
- Sign in to League Read and choose Add league from the league selector.
- Select CBS Sports Fantasy, ESPN, Sleeper, MyFantasyLeague, or Fleaflicker.
- Enter the details requested for that provider and choose the league when a list is shown.
- Leave the setup page open or return later. League Read saves the connection and follows the import in the background.
See the provider guides for the exact fields, access method, and known coverage differences.
Review scoring and roster rules
League Read imports every rule the provider supplies and asks you to review the result. A missing provider setting remains Not provided; League Read does not guess a value that could change a ranking or recommendation.
If earlier seasons are discovered, confirm whether their rules stayed the same or changed. This keeps historical scoring and analysis aligned with the rules that actually applied in each season.
Choose your team
Your team selection becomes the default roster context for My Team, Gameday, Start/Sit, Waivers, Weekly outlook, and Trades. It does not claim or modify that team on the provider.
You can change the selected team later from the controls at the top of League Read when the league contains multiple teams.
Let the first analysis finish
The setup checklist prepares rankings, roster context, and the first league dashboard after the required data and rules are ready. It is safe to leave the page; returning to the league brings you back to the current step.
